Diplomed engineer from the ENSCS (Ecole Nationale Superieure de Chimie de Strasbourg, National School of Chemistry in Strasbourg), holder of a DEA (Diplôme d'études approfondies) in Materials Science and a MBA from the ICG/Institut Français de gestion, Jean has worked in the Energy and Chemistry sectors within major French and international industrial groups.
Co-creator of the Innovation Nanomaterials and Strategy (InS) laboratories group, in the field of surfaces, interfaces physics and chemistry, he founded CSI, an industrial strategy consulting company serving various types of firms.
For several years he has been advising companies on renewable energy issues and more particularly in hydrogen sector.
For 15 years he was a director of ELGI (European Lubricating Grease Institute), a professional association bringing together oil and chemical organizations.
